Victor and Elena Tan founded Hawaii Asia Pacific Institute of Culture and Arts in 2014 in
their quest to teach and share their passion in performing arts. Their goal is to create an
opportunity for communities to share their cultures globally.
Victor and Elena are internationally acclaimed acrobats. In 1987, Victor won the first
Wuqiao International Circus Festival Gold Award. The following year, 1988, Elena claimed
the Shenzhen China International Art Festival Outstanding Performance Award.
Both had performed to audiences worldwide, France, Italy, Belgium, Singapore, and in United States with the “Ringling Brothers”, and in a Broadway Show at the New York Lincoln Center. Over the years, they acted and interviewed in various movies, television shows, newspapers and magazines.
Victor and Elena hopes to instill and inspire today’s youth to practice culture, arts, and
performances to connect people of different cultures and ethnicities.
